He rose to prominence at his club, FC Tokyo, and quickly made his presence felt in the Paris Olympic generation team.
In January of this year, he was selected for the SAMURAI BLUE squad for the AFC Asian Cup. Despite not having the opportunity to play, he gained valuable experience with the team in Asia's most prestigious competition.
Played in the third group stage match against Korea Republic at the AFC U23 Asian Cup in April.
