DF 3 NISHIO Ryuya

A centre-back who has been in the team from the start and is the backbone of the team's defence.
He was sent off in the opening game of the AFC U23 Asian Cup against China PR and was unable to play to his full potential for the rest of the tournament. However, he used the bitter experience as fuel to earn a starting position for his club, Cerezo Osaka.
When he was called up for the USA tour in June, he teamed up with TAKAI Kota and showed great consistency to earn a place in the squad.
He is enthusiastic about the competition, saying, “I want to give it my all.”
